Something immediately caught Cassandra Hall’s eye when she saw an Australian breeder advertising rabbits as babies on Facebook. One of the photos had a caption, “Hairless not for sale”.
Her pet had already been adopted, but she contacted the breeder nonetheless. Having never owned a furless rabbit before, Cassida requested more pictures.

When Bigglesworth arrived, the family wasn’t sure if he was a safe and trustworthy pet. There was Bigglesworth. Mr. Bigglesworth’s mother, a human, explained that she never let him outside due to Australia’s calicivirus, which kills rabbits. In addition to his many jumpers, he has a companion rabbit named Miss Cinnamon Bun to keep him warm.
