Carpenter, who has a medical condition called spinal muscular atrophy, does a great job copying the start of a famous movie called Mad Max. In the film, Mad Max is in a dangerous situation with a person called Nux. Carpenter even has a special wheelchair that looks like a vehicle from the movie. A friend named Amy helps control the vehicle and is a big fan of dressing up as movie characters.
