Ajar Setiadi, a wildlife photographer from Indonesia, lives in Bogor, Indonesia, and often photographs the frogs that inhabit the area around his house. His pictures shed light on the unique habits of these brightly colored animals. Setiadi takes care of the animals as if they were his pets, allowing them to run around in his garden. At the same time, he sets up his camera to take these one-of-a-kind photographs. The photographer believes that capturing these fleeting moments with his camera is akin to performing a minor miracle.
One of his pictures depicts a frog in the rain holding a leaf like an umbrella, and another shows what looks like two frogs dancing together. Both of these images were taken by him. Nevertheless, one picture, in particular, stands out as very endearing: Setiadi was able to photograph two hunched frogs hiding from the rain under an umbrella made of flowers. As social animals, frogs are depicted here in an emotional state similar to that of a couple in love or two buddies who look out for each other during a storm.
