Photographer Julia Sundukova enjoys photographing animals, particularly wild ones. She recently had a remarkable encounter when she could record an important moment between a mother lion cub and her pup. Julia saw the youngster give its mother the most adorable kiss on the nose. She witnessed this touching scene while on a trip to Zimbabwe’s Hwange Park.
A mom and her baby shared a special moment, which Julia captured with her camera. As a photographer who has seen many beautiful scenes of animals in the wild, this one still surprised and moved her.

“The female lioness wearing a collar was the mother of the playful cub she interacted with. Since there were no male lions nearby, it was fascinating to watch how the cubs played and interacted with the female lioness,” she explained.
“This is such an amazing lesson about nature! Even though they were far from the road, I had so much fun watching the lions during golden hour. It was so interesting to see them until the sun went down.”
