A mother’s love for her child is very strong, and this story is a great example of how strong this bond between a mother and son is. Ada Keating, who is 98 years old, moved to a care home in Liverpool to care for her son Tom, who is 80 years old. They are happy living together and taking care of each other.

Ada and Harry had four children: Tom, Barbara, Margi, and Janet. Janet passed away when she was only 13 years old. Before his retirement, Tom worked as a painter and decorator at HE Simm Building Services. The company was located on the street called Prescot Road. In 2016, Tom moved to Moss View because he needed more help.

Ada and her son Tom always stick together and enjoy doing things together. They like playing games and watching a TV show called Emmerdale. Ada says she always says goodnight to Tom in his room and greets him in the morning. When she goes out to get her hair done, Tom looks for her and hugs her when she returns.

Tom is happy with the situation. He says, “Things are good here and I am happy to see my mom more often since she lives here. She takes good care of me. Sometimes she reminds me to behave.”

The person in charge of the facility, Philip Daniels, said it is very nice to see Tom and Ada have a strong bond. He also said they were happy they could help both of them. It is not often that mothers and their children live in the same care home, so they want to make their time together special.
